Since Amanda and I have figured out our storyline, it’s time to figure out who will be taking certain roles. Amanda was an actor last year and it did not work out so well just because Amandas would constantly be laughing (it was hilarious), so this year I was planning to be the actor at first but since there has been a dramatic change with the project. I have no choice but to make my little sister the actor and I think that she will do a good job at this. We are going to give my little sister Orian a try. Since we are home all day long, my sister has no problem participating in this project since she has nothing better to do. This is really good because it allows Amanda and I to focus on the other parts of the film. If you look below there is a picture of my little sister! This is going to be great !!

Hi people,

       Yesterday Amanda and I made a decision, and we figured out what storyline we are going to use for this short film with the limited amount of resources that we have. Instead of doing the romantic comedy that we had planned, we will be doing a parody. In this we will have the storyline of the coronavirus, and we will be doing how to. An example would be, how to avoid the coronavirus, how to recover. As we researched this topic we found a movie called Zombieland and in this film the main character is explaining the rules that help him stay alive during the zombie apocalypse. . This film gives us ideas and we will be basing some of these ideas into our film. Some of the ideas will be possibly doing a voiceover. We do think that we could pull this off, and we are hoping that it will look great. Even though we can’t really feel outside much, we will be using our house to the best of our ability. We think that the storyline is funny and it relates to the situation that we are in now and this could help us during our filming process, as always I will keep you guys updated!

Hi everyone,

        Today I will be talking about some good news and bad news, and I am going to start with the bad news first though. The bad news has to do with the corona virus and how it is constantly spreading and infecting so many people on a daily basis. With this being said my parents will not let me leave my house at all, along with Amanda's parents. Even if our parents did let us out of the house, all business is closed and the places that we hoped to film at would not be available to us. But because this pandemic only affects our filming, we hope to come up with another plot that always allows us to film with the current situation that we are in. The good news is that Amanda and I have already come up with some great ideas so far and we are still excited to do this project. Everyone stay safe and we will be back with more updates! :))

Happy Sunday,

       Amanda and I met up yesterday and we came up with something very important for our film and that would be the tittle! Tittle's are extremely important in our film because they are the first interaction that the audience will get with the film, so the tittle needs to be creative and capture the attention of the people. For now we have come up with the tittle name of 'togetherness', and the meaning of that word is being close to another person or to just people.

       I feel that when people hear the name of the movie they will become more interested on what it is about and the overall film. But I did think about this tittle deeply and I feel that people may take our film to seriously in a 'romantic way' and even though it will be that deep in a romantic way it also is a comedy so I would want the audience to understand the type of film that we would be putting out there. As I always say, I will be back with more updates.

Some good news,

       Can't believe that I forgot to mention that we started to create our website today! Now don't get to excited... Because we just started, meaning that we got the basics down. Meaning that we were able to figure out which template and look we think will be the best fit for out project and theme. While still making it simple and fun for our audience to navigate through it.

       But with good news there can always be some bad, and for Amanda and I, it did not cross our mind that we will be needing to create a LOGO/symbol that will be representing our short film. So hopefully Amanda and I will have that done by very early next week. Other than that the template that we chose for our project is so cute! If you look at the image you are able to see a little clock, and what we would do is set a date and time and the clock will stop clicking until our movie is out! In the back we would could update images from our film (teaser) or just put our logo, for now that is the plan and I am super excited about it !

        As Amanda and I have both discussed we would be using Wix, I started to brainstorm and get more ideas for how our website will look and what we should be including in this. As I was looking I noticed that a lot of these films had a very clean look for their website, along with being very color coordinated.

As I kept looking I felt that our film needs a specific color that we can use for our overall tone, and since the color red represents love I was thinking that we could use it. But I feel that it is so basic to use that color and I feel like I would want something more engaging and eye catching for our film... When researching I found that blue, red and green would be used. And I found that

these colors together would work well in a comedy film within

 the character costumes or just the title

to just portray the convention of

comedy and romance.

Hello everyone,

          Amanda and I have been putting so much effort into setting down a nice plot, and came to a realization that we also have more material in this project.... including our website. For this project we would like to make our website interacting with our audience in order for them to feel some kind of personal connection. SO maybe we would put quizzes on our website like the ones ''is he really into you'' or ''is he the one''.

We would put fun little quizzes that the audience would love to play! As I speak about our website I would also like to include that we will be using Wix to create our website and should have it started it up by this week.Wix is FREE, we love that :) and also extremely easy to use, and it includes a lot of amazing templates with it. Amanda and I strongly believe that this is the most effective way to be able to market our film, come back for more updates and details!
