Hi…

Today we have run into our first problem. As Amanda and I started editing our short film we came to a realization that we need to film more because we are short on footage. So we decided that we need to change a couple things and we decided that we will be adding a flashback in the start of the film. The first flashback that we recorded was a party scene in which I brought my neighbors over and we used flashing LED lights to make it look like a party. But instead of just putting a party scene as a flashback we came to a realization that we need more, so I will be taking more footage of my little sister ASAP. And this footage will include my sister walking the dog outside, going in the pool, eating dinner with the family and much more. We hope that with doing this our film will look much better, along with feeling in the time we need for this film.

I have some great news that I will be sharing with you guys, Amanda and I have finished filming everything that we needed for our project!! Even though it was difficult communicating with Amanda over the phone we were able to get to work and get it all done. I think the footage that we got was very funny and looked really good because I have the highest iPhone quality so it went well. I also want to give a huge thanks to my sister for being extremely patient during the filming process! It all really went.

Hi ,

As I have discussed earlier this week, amanda and i have started to really put the pieces together and we are definitely questions certain things during the editing process. We do want to manipulate this short film with color but we do not want that manipulation of color to be taken away from the fact that it is a parody and accidently make it to derious for the audience which will lead to a lot of confusion. That is definitely a small issue that Amansa and I are going through as we have been editing the film, but we hope that the audience understands by making this extremely extroverted we are not making fun of the illness (Because thousands of people are dying a day) but we are just making fun of the reactions society… Amanda and I should be able to fix this small issue and we hope to make sure that the audience does not take our film in the wrong way, but as always I will be back with more updates for you all!

Today Amanda and I have started to put out a film together on wevideo and even though we are not exactly sure how the film will start, I would like to say that I am still recording on a daily basis and should be done by sunday! Amanda and I just want to make sure that this film is the best that we could possibly make and we hope that the pieces will continue to come together as we keep recording. Sorry for the short update, but I just wanted to announce that the editing process is currently taking place !!!!!!

Hey everyone ! 

        I have some great News and the other day I started filming with my little sister. Since we are not allowed out of our house I was the one filming, but even though Amanda was not physically there to help me film we did get to facetime throughout this process and even though it was a little difficulty communicating that way, she was still a huge helping hand when I was indecisive about the kind of techniques we needed to be using along with different shots and angles for it to become more engaging for the audience. We recorded the first half of our film, but hopefully will be recording the rest tomorrow. I am going to put these clips until we video and we are going to get started with the editing process. It feels good to say that we are really starting to move ahead with the filing process! 

Hi everyone, 

For our film we will be putting rules as we have said in a previous blog. We got the idea from doing research and finding the movie Zombieland and will be incorporating these similar rules into our film. In our film we will have my little sister (the main actor) voice over these rules while we show footage of the grocery store being empty or even show the streets being empty as well. Down below I wrote some of the rules that could possibly used for our film, the next step is having Amanda approve these and we all good to go! 

RULE 1: Always have hand sanitizer by your side

RULE 2: sleep with your mask, eat with your mask, and shower with your mask. NEVER TAKE IT OFF.

RULE 3: Gloves always stay on, hand sanitizer on top of your gloves.

RULE 4: Never leave your home 

Hello everyone,

Everyday has been a great day so far because I have been going outside every day and exercising to make the best out of everything that I can. Moving on ever since we already started filming we have put more thought into our editing process and with this being said we have started to look at the kind of fonts that we will be using in this film. We need a font that is bold and in a way kind of mysterious. Down below I will be showing a couple fonts that I have had in mind so far.

 Personally I am kind of feeling font number 5 because it gives it a mysterious vibe and this is what we are going for and it is also bold.
